…we might have had a little fun on stream that night… From week’s before, I had some leftover pie crust in fridge as well as a lot of premixed cinnamon sugar. So what did I do? Pinterest! Found this recipe on how to use what you have left over and it was a lot of fun. We ended up getting a little creative and I tried making some roses. Sure, some look better than others, but I had fun! I also carved in the initials of some of the viewers that were chatting that night because… why not??
I. Love. This. Recipe. So much! It tastes really good, and I have learned, making it with ground chicken is very crucial. You can buy it pre-ground at your grocery store, but I find it way easier and cheaper to just put your chicken in the food processor at home. No stress in it at all. Big thing to remember with this recipe is have all your ingredients ready beside you, chopped and laid out, because once it goes into the hot pan, there isn’t much down time. Things cook fast, so it is easier to be prepared. Then platting up, have some nice lettuce with you (maybe a fork ready for when bits fall out) and eat up!
Meal Prep: I plated up the lettuce wrap mix and then some lettuce to go with it, so that when at work, you can make wraps or mix it all together for a good crunch.
